Presenter Bio:
Ms. Aileen Clemente serves as Program Specialist within the Active Assailant Security Branch for the Office of Security Programs at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). Ms. Clemente develops resources focusing on active shooter preparedness, mitigation of vehicle ramming, edged weapons attacks, houses of worship security, and non-confrontational techniques consisting of CISA’S Employee Vigilance Through the Power of Hello and the De-Escalation Series. Prior to this role, Ms. Clemente supported the Active Assailant Security Branch as a contractor, providing administrative support on matters relevant to the Active Assailant Security Branch. Ms. Clemente was a public-school educator for over ten years.
